This makes me think of the scene in "the Seven Samurai" where the sword master is challenged. He wants to refuse, but the challenger insists. The challenger charges and the sword master makes one precise blow. The challenger takes two steps and falls dead. The sword master, who hasn't moved after his one blow, then returns his sword to its scabbard.
