She wasn't sure why, but she couldn't get out the thought of jumping in the pool out of her mind. She had never done anything like that before. She sat there staring off not really paying attention to the conversation around her. Could she get her friends to dare her to jump in? She got up to go over and have a look at the pool. When one of her friends, saw her they called out, "what are you doing?" "Checking out the pool" she replied. Someone else chimed in, "Going for a swim? I dare you!" There it was she thought! The dare! "What?" she replied just to be sure, "Dare me?" "YES!" they all shouted. She had to go now. She stood on the edge and looked down at the water. She looked back to her friends and someone shouted, "DO IT!" She turned around and jumped, cannon ball style. SPLASH!!!
