The Rising Bite
Nobody remembered when The Rising Bite first opened.
One night the building was abandoned.
The next, the neon sign flickered to life:
“OPEN TIL YOU’RE EXPIRED.”
The food was horrifying.
The service was worse.
And somehow… people kept coming back.
The waitresses shuffled between tables carrying brain platters and blood-red cocktails while the undead chef proudly prepared his famous “Baked Graves” behind the counter. Every customer looked half-decayed, half-delighted, like they’d finally found the only restaurant that understood them.
Locals warned visitors never to read the menu too carefully.
Especially the fine print under desserts:
“Ask about our soul-sucking sundae.”
But the strangest part wasn’t the food.
It was the feeling that once you ate there, a little piece of you stayed behind.
And judging by the crowd…
business was absolutely thriving.
