Hey lovely creation, just wondering since your name has the word dutch in it, are you by any chance dutch?

Indeed, but my Dutch ancestors came to the US in 1630, actually Nieu Amsterdam back then, and settled north of Albany, NY, where they were 6 generations in when the Revolution began. Since then, my branch of the family added French, British, Scots, Danish, Norwegian, and Lithuanian to the mix.  So, I'm too far removed from my Dutch ancestors to be considered Dutch, I guess, but I know the most about them. My pseudonym came from a noir song I wrote about 5 years ago, about Dutch Van Tagonist, Private Eye. I liked the sound of it.

My mum is dutch, well her parents both were, she was born here, and at a young age she moved back there. So that makes me a quater dutch a guess, i also got Canadian, Italian, Scottish, Jewish (the last three are quite far back). So yeah, i don't speak much dutch, but my mum and her family speak it a lot, so i have picked some up along the way. Also followed you. Have a great rest of the day, doei (means bye in dutch).
