I don't care much for snow. In fact, as soon as I could I gave up the metropolis and came to live by the sea. But snow globes are here too, you know?

Only, instead of fake snow, souvenir stores here sell them with real grains of sand mixed with glitter inside -- more calypso than Christmas, more tropical than North Pole... but their simple magic remains the same.
