Grathik issued orders to 3rd Group on the way back, and Commander D'Iræ made some inspired calls of her own, logging the incident with 5th Group with recommendations for follow-up. It gave her a chance to link her name and presence and avoid mention of sticky pirate bits and unofficial channels. Grathik, at least, would appreciate the streamlining of his mandatory report. As they approached the Fetchwind, bustling with shuttles, escort fighters, and tugs streaming towards and past them, Amara explained what she'd done.
"That does help, yes," Grathik nodded. "A good day's effort. Long night for some, though."
He gestured out the ports as Lizard turned the shuttle around to enter the hangar. The assorted ships disappeared into the maelstrom of rocks at blistering speeds.
"Still, I'm only giving them an hour," Grathik said. The ship settled with a bump. "I want to be at Fleet Intel on Quind by morning."
