The Horopet tribe had little interest in the Zuri Chotai tribe. The Zuri wisely gave a wide birth to the Horopet who's settlements usually hugged the banks of rivers and the coast of Zambar. The Zuri colonized the slopes of the Miju hills where rain water whold find itself trapped in fissures and deep crevasse between giant smooth boulders. When the settlement began to grow the Horopet tribe because to trade with the Zuri and many began to live in the new city. The Horopet tribe introduced the Zuri to banking and trade networks that streched far and wide. Many new tribes moved I to the city and a hierarchie began to form. Though the Zuri had founded the city they had little say in its fate. The Horopet cartels controlled all of the recoces and their mercenaries collected taxes. The Zuri Chotai chieftain Kudzomi Obunei was the last of such Christians to resist the Horopet families when he was overthrown in a coupe orchestrated by the oligarchy.
