This is a recurring theme in your images, the limits between nature and stage, art and non-art. There is even a deeper theme, that of what constitutes subjective reality and objective reality?

Oh man, what a great read. I do think about those things! So generous of you to articulate what is often difficult to put into words. Reality often seems surreal to me, and the most banal moments can suddenly become wondrous. Perhaps I avoid fairies and monsters because I see the fantastic in objects on a table or a rumpled bed. Part of what I like about your work is the way you transform draped fabric and mundane, drab surroundings into opportunities for introspection. And yes, the line between the objective and subjective doesn’t really exist, it seems.

Next up will probably be fairies and monsters, because there are exceptions to everything, and opposites are always appealing 😆
