What I like about Little Big Planet is its beautiful "sets" and its gentleness. I played when I could, but the kids got dibs on the game system. We had a strict "No TV or games from Sunday at 5pm till Friday after school". No distractions. Reading was allowed, but no TV during dinner, ever. Was supposed to be family time. I didn't want to play when they couldn't,  or cut into the little game time they were allowed. So, most often just watched LBP. Their father, my then-husband, didn't much like the stricture.
