The Grand Confectioner

Nishioka Chuichi — Lucent Corp Research Log: “Grand Confectioner represents the most advanced stage of this particular mutation, and I want the research team to understand something important: aggression does not necessarily mean intelligence has disappeared. This creature demonstrates planning, environmental awareness, and an ability to recognize repeated player strategies. The boss encounter takes place inside the Grand Production Chamber, a vast abandoned facility containing conveyor belts, syrup reservoirs, candy presses, ingredient lockers, and numerous Sugar Wash Stations. Grand Confectioner cannot reliably see the player, but its sense of smell is so powerful that ordinary hiding places are ineffective once the Candy Meter reaches its upper threshold. During the encounter, it can deliberately contaminate pathways with sugary residue, forcing players to alter their routes.
