They say my guardian sleeps. They mistake closed eyes for an absent soul. But mountains never release the earth when the sun goes down. Trees never abandon their roots because no one is watching. The river remembers its way home. The moon remembers the night. And love never forgets what it was born to protect. So I read without fear. The birds sing. The lanterns glow. The dog dreams. Peace is born from the certainty that someone strong enough to carry the world... is carrying me. Even in silence, I am never alone. Every dawn finds me exactly where grace left me. Safe. Always. True guardians never need to stay awake to protect what they love.
