Here is how the story goes:
What happened to her in the throes
Of passion, on her wedding night
Her husband gave her such a fright
To bed he brought a kitchen knife
To use to kill his newly wife
To take her money and then run
To the arms of a fallen nun.
But first the body to dispose
In the woods beyond the patch of rose
Then off he fled: with money and the lust
Of his godless vixen; his wife left in dust
And soot and moss and creatures foul.
Her spirit haunts this deadly wood
And it is of course understood
That if you find her and do her bidding
She grant you a wish - I'm not kidding!
Her bidding is to find the man
Who killed her and then quickly ran
And bring him to the woods she haunts
So she can inflict her ghostly taunts
On him. So if you find her - chances slim -
Be ready to take on her quest
Because if you don't at her behest
She'll trap your spirit in this wood
And this is where you'll stay for good!
