Aw, nice. How old is he or she and how many years have you had it for? I know they're not big talkers but have you taught it anything.

Back in 2008, a friend and I went to visit the Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Vancouver. They also have the Bloedel Conservatory there where tropical plants are grown. To give it a more tropical feel, there's some parrots and a few other tropical birds allowed to fly freely about in it, as much as possible with clipped pinions. The birds come from a bird rescue place. While I was squatting down to look at a plant better, an African grey came walking over to me. It stopped in front and bent its head very low. It wanted me to stroke and scratch it. I was delighted and so was she. She was the only African grey and was so lonely. While I was talking and bonding with her, a grumpy worker came up to me, telling me NOT to touch the birds and she's dangerous because she's mean and bites.
