Kate Bishoop, clad in her sleeping dress (mostly because it was already quite late), crouched precariously at her balcony. Nearby, a deafening Barry Manilow ballad blared from her neighbor's open apartment. Taking a deep breath, Kate nocked an arrow, aiming for the source of the musical torture.
"Here goes nothing," she muttered, unleashing the arrow. It whistled through the air, narrowly missing a startled pigeon and lodging itself firmly – in the neighbor's potted fern. A beat of stunned silence, then the Manilow stopped.
Kate grinned. "Bullseye." She wasn't Robin Hood, but at least she could silence a bad song.

The depiction of the archer is truly beautiful. And I can really sympathise with the story. I really don't like noise , luckily I don't have a bow . Your writing made me look at Kandinsky's works. very interesting indeed.
