Iguana wore survival scale by scale. Dragonfly wore freedom wing by wing. Between them, she learned the soul needs both: strength to endure, courage to change. Rise-but do not abandon your roots. Remember-but do not make a home of pain. They call you inconsistent when they cannot contain you. They say you changed colors because they loved the shade that framed you. Iridescence is not confusion. Truth revealed when light changes. Pink was tenderness pain could not harden. Blue was truth rising. Gold was what darkness could not tarnish. She wasn't changing colors. She was changing the angle- until the light stopped asking her to shrink and showed her she had been whole in every shade.
