This was one of my suggested prompts. It was aimed for a Daily Challenge, but I dd not end up submitting it. The prompt specified the style of comics artist George Perez.
One of my reasons for not submitting it was that, while the suggested prompt said the fairy's body should be composed entirely of smoke and ash, in this creation she ended up looking like a flesh-and-blood girl who just happens to have fairy-wings surrounded by flame. That was not nearly unusual enough for the daily challenge in question.
