I wanted this image to reflect traditional Japanese art, because it has this mystic charm. This particular image wasn't overly creepy, but the ghost is clearly a ghost, and the image starts telling a tale out of itself. Who is (was) the ghost? Why does he haunt that area? Feint hints of a backstory unfold in the mind immediately.
