Scientists played stupid games and tried to be God and created a creature meant to be the ultimate weapon for their military. By splicing dna found from alien fossils on the planet and alien wildlife they found on other planets with a humans.
They inadvertently created a large group of Apex killer and hunters. They experiemented in secret on death row inmates and Sex offenders inmates since their lives were viewed as void.
The resulting demonic creatures became to intelligent and tactful and powerful to control. Their armored skin can not be pierced therefore they cannot die. They are agile, insanely powerful and very fast.
It was safest to abandeoned the planet.
Travel advisory: Highest danger, do not land on the planet. It will result in death. East side of planet is unsafe due to radtion as well from a failed nuking attempt to kill the creatures.
