Thank you to
@TalCherie for the wonderful idea of sharing my poems. Forever grateful. <3
Selfish, but insecure.
Gluttonous, but for a reason.
Positive, though you know it’s wrong.
Weak, knowing you can be strong.
Unsaid words on the tip of your tongue.
Feeling the erroneous pressure in the air,
When you are so close to the unspoken,
Forbidden words, yet to be heard.
The blood coursing through your system,
Of the unsaid words.
Feel like you’ll burst,
Like an expanding balloon.
Bottle up your feelings,
Let the deals do the dealings,
Let the tears do the concealing.
Let the unsaid words bring out the reeling.
About to fall and tumble about,
But one catches you, you shout,
Scared of what they’ll think,
You stumble,
They keep you steady,
Their touch sending a tranquil sensation,
soft and subtle.
You stare, afraid.
They smile, showing warmth,
That’s when you know,
You aren’t alone.
Unsaid words breathe once more.
But those unsaid words are no more.
