At first, I thought it was just a lapse in focus—stress, exhaustion. But when I tried to recall how I got there, the memory didn’t add up. It felt like my mind had skipped over something important, like I was on autopilot.

The others said I acted normal, but it was as if pressing that button was the next logical step. Like I had done it before.
