Beautiful idea -- worth developing. I'm battling with a similar idea (involving fountain pens). My best effort to date isn't ready to publish, but here it is in case anything in my prompt helps:

@RoccoThePug, this one is maybe the closest I came to having the spray form a rainbow. What I wanted was the rainbow colors to be seen from each spray, or an overall rainbow from the sprays.
