Please don't get discouraged. Not all people really know what art is (not that I consider myself to) but the average person judges a picture for prettiness -- big-eyed children and animals, pretty women (generally over-made up and very shapely), lots of flowers and lots of bright colours -- and your image is none of that. But it's a very good portrait! It's for those reasons that I don't bother joining challenges. I don't wish to make what others think pretty. Do art for your own enjoyment!
