A wonderful divine portrayal of Jesus in his majestic posture surrounded by the love of his followers: SON OF MAN and at the same time GOOD SHEPHERD! My warmest congratulations on this divine masterpiece! Love and blessings!ā¤š
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:3-5)
All of us are a "son of man" (the word "man" in Greek is 'anthropos', which means "human being"). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, willingly became the Son of Man....a human being. He identifies with our sorrows and temptations; and even when we mess it up, He still waits to heal and embrace us again.
Congratulations to our winner and thank you all for sharing in this celebration of Christ's humanity. ššš. Stephen's last words:
And he said, āBehold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.ā (Acts 7:5-6)
Beautifully done, friend! This is a terrific illustration of Jesus among the crowds of the city and offering them the Way, the Truth and the Life. šššļøš
