Chill my soul to the bone, Death has come to take me home. Too soon my life has come to pass, my life was long but went too fast. Too soon Death asks to take her hand, to lead me to the Promised Land. The touch I feared was warm and soothing, her voice was soft and calm. Our time is brief and done too soon, it's never long enough. We want to stay, not out of fear, but because there's still so much. Things left undone, things left unsaid, regrets that haunt us once we're dead.
