The end of one long journey has at last come and now the largest journey of my life was about to begin. 

For years I has knocked on the doors of my fellow academics begging them for an audience and each time they turned their backs on me. At last I have it in my hand, the letter of summons. I have after all these years been accepted to stand before the High tribal of Tel Zambarvek to propose a great expedition. I have studied the maps and cryptographers and even many languages and dialects described in my portfolio. The only thing missing is the patronage of the noble families and it was atlast within my grasp.

I'll never forget the day that my life changed, when I was a cub. From the crowd a stranger pulled me aside and pressed a mysterious folder made of leather and gilded with blue Gouzu shell into my arms. Somehow he chose me, out of everyone in the crowd to give this precious cash of information. The stranger explained nothing to me he simply insisted that I not tell anybody.
