Thank you so much! I was so happy when the machine finally understood what I was going for, as I'd read both Hyde Park and Victoria Park had been dug up and used for gardening when the food rationing began in earnest during the the second world war. Thank you so much for your comment! 🥰
Yay! Three cheers for prompt telepathy (getting the machine to read our minds)! Almost all of my creations except for challenge-related pieces are set in the same time period, so I really appreciated your work on this one.
I made mine a backyard Victory Garden, with a girl about the age my mom was at the time.
Yay for Victory Gardens! This is so exciting for me - I can't believe there's someone on here who has family memories from that time🤗 As an American, I can only glean understanding from books and old interviews😅 I love this era and am working on a novel (and hopefully a series if I can get my ducks to marshal themselves...which as you know ducks do not like taking orders) set during this time in Britain. I lot of my pictures are of this time, although romanticized in some way as I know the times were much harder than just a simple dreamy shot of a moment in time. Thank you SO MUCH for commenting - I really, really appreciate it ❤
"1940's Britain, London Hyde Park dug up and turned into a community allotment garden, vegetables, muddy, tall park stature at center, weary people, dogs and children, bright color, realism, old grainy colorized photography, distressed young woman at center"
