The Stonesinger is a peculiar and dreadful creature composed of flexible stone, resembling a scorpion with a wide, flat body covered in thick scales. It moves on long, spidery legs ending in crystal claws that can pierce stone. The creature's front is equipped with six long claws on thick, segmented arms, while its tail is a long stalk of flexible black stone ending in a huge lamprey-like mouth surrounded by five hooked arms. Stonesingers, native to the Material Plane, are masters of controlling the earth, using haunting, booming songs often mistaken for the wind. These intelligent creatures appreciate music and can sometimes be placated by a skilled performer
