Von der Erinnerung übermannt lief Francis ins Haus, um in der modernen Küche nach dem alten Kristallglas zu suchen. Wenig später pustete sie die ersten Seifenblasen in die Nacht. Und es geschah, als sich der Ring der Zeit schloss zwischen dem kleinen, Seifenblasen pustendem Mädchen und der jungen Frau, die in dieser wunderschönen Juninacht auf der Terrasse dem kleinen Mädchen von damals begegnete.  Um sie herum verdichteten sich die Seifenblasen zu schillernden Kugeln, die in den Sternenhimmel emporschwebten auf den Bändern jener sehnsuchtsvollen Melodie.  Staunend sah Francis, wie eine solche Kugel sich veränderte. Die sich bildende Iris öffnete und verschloss die Kugel in einem eigenen Rhythmus. In der Kugel glaubte sie den Sternenschleier eines neuen Universums zu erkennen.
Neue Welten, so also entstehen neue Welten, erkannte sie schlagartig! Wenn der Ring der Zeit sich schließt, entstehen aus Seifenblasen neue Welten - so einfach ist das also!
