Some journeys are not measured in miles,
but in everything the heart must survive
before it dares to walk again.
The sea carried away what certainty could not.
The storms carved their names into stone.
Even the earth broke beneath the weight of our silence.
Yet love...
true love...
never abandoned the threshold.
It waited beyond the ruin,
beyond the sorrow,
beyond the years that tried to convince us
that hope had already died.
Every wave became a prayer.
Every step became an act of faith.
Every tear became another tide returning home.
And when I finally reached the place
where everything else had fallen apart,
I discovered that what was meant for my soul
had never stopped waiting for me.
