Uxas was a hero and a warrior on the planet Apokolips to all but his family. He had a relationship with a warrior and scientist named Suli until his mother Queen Heggra attempted to murder Suli and nearly succeeded. Uxas helped Suli and her sect of Female Furies escape and sacrificed himself to stay on the planet and was held prisoner by his own family as they took his infant daughter hostage to ensure his compliance. Now as an emslaved prisoner for his family’s machinations he has no hope…until he meets a hero who is like him as he once was, a prisoner named Kal El. Together the two must work together if they wish to take down Uxas’s deranged family and free the rest of their fellow prisoners.
