Federation USS Obsidian Dawn, NCC-99007 (2475)

The USS Obsidian Dawn, NCC-99007, launched in 2475 from Utopia Planitia, is a 400-meter Federation-Cardassian masterpiece, born of Section 31’s ShadowWorks and the Cardassian Obsidian Forge. Its gray, starfish-like hull gleams with orange lights, a nod to unity post-Dominion War. Two integrated nacelles power a Quantum Cascade Drive, fusing Starfleet’s programmable matter with Cardassian microfusion, reaching Warp 9.99. An Adaptive Cloaking Matrix—Section 31 stealth meets Cardassian cunning—defies sensors. The Molecular Synthesis Transporter duplicates samples ethically, while Chrono-Pulse Cannons shred shields with Cardassian chroniton precision. Nanotech drones, quantum sensors, holo-comm, and AI core guide its 200-person Federation and Cardassian crew. Regenerative polyphasic shields and transphasic torpedoes ensure supremacy. Crewed to heal old scars, the Obsidian Dawn explores and defends - a beacon of trust in a galaxy reborn.
