As soon as I open the door I feel I’m the one judged. Miss Yvette Hanson, worked previously as a teacher, a matron and it appears most recently as live in tutor and mentor for a wealthy family with twin daughters. I can sense she is used to being in charge. One of our older applicants. I can see immediately why Lucy shortlisted her but I’m nervous about expecting her in uniform. I know we will need a range of staff. But is this role beneath her? Is she expecting to walk in and be boss?

Miss Hanson tells me to walk so she can see me properly. I feel I can’t refuse. She then laughs a sweet laugh from one that appears strict. Yes you are like the twins. They kept me on my toes, as did their mother .. a pause and in their beds. Okay Miss Moth you’re in charge … tell me what I need to do to work at this amazing house. I am a little dumbfounded .. my initial judgement looks way off .. but no I sense she is strict .. when she has to be ..but maybe a few stories to tell …
