I can imagine how you felt hearing this. I am sorry for that brave child and for you, cause it's horrible. But I am glad the child reported it to you, that shows how important it is what you do and that your effort in your work gives the kid the trust and confidence to talk about it. And I really hope this doesn't happen regulary with the kid. It's as far as I know not easy to uncover it if this vi0lence happens in repeat and then to do something against it if possible (that can bring a lot of trouble too). Must have been very hard and stressful for you and I hope you are fine and that it will become better for the child too, in any case (if it was a single event or not for this kid).
