XX Judgement

Judgement in the Tarot is the ultimate wake-up call.

Not just: "Get your @$$ in gear!" Though it does mean that too.

Specifically, this Judgement call is for Reviving the Dead: forgotten agendas, relationships you've given up on, dreams you thought you'd never achieve, old projects that have simmered in the back of your brain for years. It's time to dust those old things off, and give them one more try!

If you get this card in Reverse, it means: "Not Yet, but Not Never either. Wait for it!"

Interesting fact: In ancient Peru, the Jaguar represents Resurrection and Reincarnation, and the Conch shell is the trumpet the ancient Peruvians used! Also, the jaguar is associated with Eagles. So no downy soft swan wings for my trumpeter of doom. Golden eagle for him!

Despite the somewhat radical (pagan) changes, the symbolism in this card remains exactly the same -- without breaking the Cat theme.

Much more exciting than some crusty old boring angel.
