Now some sad news
After extensive risk assessments, contingency planning, and several concerns about the retirement process itself, Mr Worrywart has decided to retire.
Thank you to everyone who took part and created some wonderfully inventive images. Sadly, despite our best efforts, many entries eventually became "Mr Worrywart in a slightly different location with slightly different equipment."
The experiment was great fun, but the joke has run its course. Along the way he monitored rain that never fell and hazards nobody else could see. Mr Worrywart leaves with a full flask, a working headlamp, and several backup plans.
