Don't call accountability an argument just because it exposed your excuses. You hurt them, dismissed their pain, then blamed them for bleeding. That's not communication; it's manipulation wearing the mask of strength. Accountability isn't an attack—it's respect in action. Trust isn't destroyed by mistakes; it's destroyed by refusing to own them. So if you truly love them, don't let a temporary emotion make a permanent decision. Some hearts are too rare to lose over a moment of pride.
