My prompt-pong buddy @IAmWhoIWasNot had adapted my original prompt and added some more funny stuff to it. So I copied it to use - in this case evolving a otherwise bland image created with a different prompt (I do that occasionally, switching out prompts for some interesting variations). 

I ran a search with the rather arbitrary title, and to my surprise I found as first reference this Wikipedia entry:
