It's a nicely written passage from a diary as well. It intrigued me what actually happened to Alec. If nothing happen, then Alec seems to be the perfect two faced person. He was sweet to enter and corrupt her heart and then he switched when he knew her heart is his. I wonder if Sera can move on from Alec.

Alec has been acting strange lately. Usually, he’s cute, shy, and innocent, but now he’s become the opposite. He mingles easily, isn’t fazed by my winks, initiates romance without feeling bashful, and says strange things like not to call him by his name.

Alec used to love it when I said his name, but now he rages every time I do. It breaks my heart to see him so different.

He’s started criticizing some of my father’s policies, which is odd because Alec was never interested in politics; he barely knew about the tax policies.

What could have caused this?

Did someone possess him with dark magic?

Are these his true colors emerging?

Or has he been corrupted, as Remiel suggests?

Such a drastic change in such a short time is hard to believe.

I fear this change might lead us down a path I cannot follow.
