I recently invented "Lady Fiona McPhail" for [another Steampunk creation](https://creator.nightcafe.studio/creation/slJd3voOBBnG0RoMd0PC), and mentioned at the time that I'd probably use her again. In this picture, she's traveled to a town in the American Wild West, and, as the title says, bought some new clothes and accessories from a local merchant on the theory that this way she would fit right in with the frontier culture and *wouldn't* seem to stand out from the crowd. (I think she's doomed to failure on that last point, but not because of her new outfit.)

Lady Fiona McPhail (of Ireland) has arrived in a Wild West Steampunk town, and has invested in a new wardrobe so that she'll fit right in.

Created for a challenge. We had a quota of just six words in the prompt. I was curious to see how well six words would do at conjuring up the sort of cover art which might have graced a Regency Romance of some decades ago. The sort of thing where the young couple feel very daring about *holding hands.* (As opposed to the sort of historical romance cover art which makes it seem as if the young couple are smoldering with passion and are on the verge of ripping off each other's clothes.)

I tried and tried to get the AI to have the soldier resting *in the shade,* the way any sensible person would do when he was out in the desert on a hot clear day, but the AI just couldn't seem to grasp the idea no matter how I weighted it in my prompt.

I've noticed a lot of ballerina pictures on NC lately. I finally decided to try my own version, with a bunch of cute female fairies dancing ballet-style in a clearing. When I did it in SDXL 1.0, their faces didn't look so good, so I went over to KREA's website and got a free enhancement of the "rough draft" image, and then I uploaded that "second draft" version right back to my NightCafe account. I'd never done it that way before, but I think the results come pretty close to what I was aiming for when I started typing the original prompt. So I may try this "bouncing back and forth" approach again.

Just felt the urge to do this. The Romans have not yet finished this project, but they will. I imagine this as taking place in Ireland, 2nd Century. (Don't bother telling me that it seems the Romans historically made little or no effort to conquer any portion of Ireland; I already checked on Wikipedia. Let's just say this is part of an alternate timeline in which they tried harder.)

Sometimes I feel I should provide some context for why I created something and did it in a certain way. Sometimes I am doing it as a note to myself, as much as anything -- months or years from now, I may need a reminder about what I was doing and why, even if no one else was worried about it. (Other times, my descriptions are much more terse than this one was. It all depends upon the circumstances.)

Masterpiece Monday

Created for a challenge. We had to use a special "SuperHyperrealism" LoRA. So I did. I chose to have this creation feature a High Priestess played by actress Elodie Young. A while back, I used her face in a creation wherein [a High Priestess](https://creator.nightcafe.studio/creation/gZ8lV1QxWBPvs3txonEt) was negotiating a deal with Conan the Barbarian in the Hyborian Age, and I figure that this is the same character, using her divine magic to cast a spell in time of need.
