Kaijucore is a niche aesthetic inspired by Japanese tokusatsu tradition and giant-monster cinema, mixing chaotic scale, grit, and pop-culture nostalgia. It includes (but is not limited to) these motifs and themes:
- Massive scale of the creature(s), either implied or reimagined as a setting
- Creatures generating or disrupting weather
- Humanity dwarfed by creatures, as observers or fleeing
- Impacts on big cities and/or the aftermath
- Reverence for creatures: shrines, festivals, art, offerings, etc
- Symbolism: disturbed seas, searchlights, earth tremors, giant footprints, silhouettes
Images breaking NightCafe community standards will be rejected.
All models and uploads are welcome. Just keep it on-theme and PG-13!
