Daily Topup Changes

We've been testing a new daily topup experience aimed at being more generous, more exciting, and encouraging a daily creative habit. The tests were successful and now we're rolling it out to everyone.

For the last few weeks, some users have been seeing this new daily topup experience. Instead of simply clicking a "Claim" button in your inbox when you log in, you now need to create something to receive the topup. Because of this new requirement, the first creation of the day is now FREE (up to a maximum value of 8 credits). Note: for PRO users this applies to all models, for non-PRO users this only applies to non-PRO models.

Once you create your first image of the day, you'll see a popup that shows you your updated streak and a "Claim Reward" button. The reward you get will vary from day to day. Most days you'll probably get 5-7 credits, but sometimes you'll get more. The amount you get each day is random but the probability of higher rewards (up to 50 credits!) is based on your streak.

This new topup process rewards you with more credits than the old process (a free creation each day plus a minimum of 5 credits, often more). It takes a few more clicks, but we've made it super quick and easy to make your first creation using one of Vincent's suggested prompts (in case inspiration hasn't struck you yet today).

Re-introducing ads

Since the new topup process is more generous, we've re-introduced ads for non-PRO users to help pay for it. See about ads on NightCafe.

For PRO users, the first-of-the-day free creation can also use PRO models. Go PRO now to remove ads and use your daily streak reward credits on PRO models.
