This reminds me of an old friend of mine, and his father and uncles were all fishermen at Whitby in England, they'd often go out in their trawlers and bring home and land fish. They'd sit quietly beside each other with barely a word spoken and deeply concentrate upon repairing the torn nets. This is definitely a true to life image for me and they'd be circled by seagulls looking for fish that had escaped on the dock from the nets.
