As artistic. If I had used coherent at the time it would have all been blurred initially and then came out totally different. At least with the first artistic iteration there's minimal change.

Just came across this and thank you ! I was wondering how to post my own work with minimal changes (as I often just use the AI as reference or overpaint a lot) and I always ended up disappointed with the “coherent” setting ! I’m going to try it out with artistic !

This is certainly one of the best art I have ever seen in my life. I would like to ask one question and I am new to this so please don't mind if this is stupid to ask. Your Starting image is already pretty close to the final image anyway. Where comes the starting image from? I guess you did this already in Photoshop etc. before. I mean the ai did not even do so much if I look at your starting image which is already amazing. Or did I misunderstand something? Fantastic work!
You are correct, the image displayed above is almost no different to the start image. This is intentional, as the previous 9 pieces of it were done with the AI but there's no option to combine them for display like this in nightcafe. If you have a look at the individual bits linked in the description it becomes much easier to see what the AI has done.

I stitched 9 images back together in Photoshop and then set the visible picture to the very first iteration so it's almost identical to the start image.
I don't know any magic tricks, I'm not a very good magician.

This was a case of creating nine separate images, running them individually, combining them, and uploading that combined piece. 10 Creations in total, but I think it came out alright :)

@tdraw_ai_art Just taking a stab at your methodology. Have you divided the original Mona Lisa into 9 segments, processed each segment separately in Nightcafe, then re-composited the processed segments into one image in photoshop, and finally run the composites as one image through Nightcafe again?

Very cool! I have to ask, how did you get so good with Coherent? I want to make something cool with it, but it always turns out looking weird.

What worked the best?
That depends on what you're trying to achieve, but one of the main areas I focussed on was the effect of different artists names as modifiers. Mostly it was a lot of trial and error to see what the AI would produce for each thing.
Oh, I want to make a portal thing. Any recommendations?
What kind of Portal? I can thinkg of a magic portal, a sci-fi portal that would be more like a wormhole in space, or the classic puzzle game, Portal 😂
