Yes and no for me. I typically only submit what I like, but if I'm really proud of one, it usually bombs. But sometimes there are dumb themes and I didn't like anything for it... I placed in action figures with a joke. 🤦♀️ but I hated the bobblehead theme but made something really cute, didn't place.

Aww, I loved this challenge, I prefer the funny ones to ones trying to be serious or emotional or just random weird ones! this one, the whacky historical photos and the random objects in space were so much more fun to vote on than people going camping or flying kites or endless lanterns! 😅 Congrats on your placement too, a gorgeous image!
Thanks! I always try to submit things that are funny or strange, and they never do well. It always bothers me that you can't win the DC unless you've done sparkly kittens or cute fairies or lighthouses or dragons. To have placed this high, it's kind of a shock to me. 💚 💚
