Somewhat raw but if I may add, not auspicious in the oriental perspective. The symbol may be black and white but the fish is valued by "fortune" flavoured colours of gold, red, orange etc of real carp. There isn't a black carp and if there is, it wd be bad luck. Fish don't belong in the Taoist fates. Just saying
This is the artist's own concept of yinyang, and is not mocking Taoism. The fish are a metaphor; it is NOT actually about fish. A white and black cat would also work just fine, too.
